Foundations
Specially designed reinforced
concrete isolated footings allow to cut drastically on the time of execution of
structure foundations, especially in winter time
Columns
Reinforced
concrete columns are provided with adequate corbels in multi-storied buildings
to support the main girders and the spandrel beams. Prestressed concrete columns
might also be manufactured.
Beams
Reinforced
as well as prestressed concrete beams are currently produced, allowing large
free spans.
Roofing Elements

These
include reinforced concrete slabs, hollowcore, single or double-tee prestressed
slabs and special I-section prestressed slabs for special projects.
Hollowcore slabs are produced currently in 20 cm and 35 cm thickness. They
can span efficiently in multi-storied buildings up to 16 m. Hollowcore slabs in
25 cm and 50 cm thickness could also be produced allowing free spans up to 20 m.
The present capacity of production of hollow-core is 225,000 m 2 per
year, for a two shift operation. Such capacity might be doubled in a very
short time when needed.

Internal Bearing and Non-Bearing
Walls
Internal Walls poured in batteries are produced with both their sides
fair-faced. Electrical conduits and boxes may be placed within the walls prior to their
pouring.
External Walls

External
walls are poured on horizontal tilting tables and may reach up to 12 m in length
and 4.25 m in height. For projects requiring heights larger than 4.25 m, the
wall elements are made with a width less than 4.25 m and to the required length.
The walls are transported in a rotated position then tilted on site prior to
their erection.
Sandwich panels are currently
produced with an intermediary layer of expanded polystyrene sheets 3 to 7 cm
thick to insure the thermal insulation required by the most stringent building
codes.
Various external finishes
might be produced:
- Smooth or textured fair-faced surfaces.
- Washed aggregate surface.
- Natural stone, marble or ceramic facing.
The internal surfaces of the
wall are smoothed so as to be ready for paint after
erection.

Stairs and Landings
In large projects, precast stairs and landings allow substantial cut in cost and
in execution time. Such elements were produced and used successfully in Housing
projects as well as in other projects.
Retaining Walls
Cantilever type retaining walls
are produced in one piece, together with their foundations. Elements for Terre Armee retaining walls might also be produced.
Hollowcore slabs have
successfully been used as retaining walls in various structures.
Boundary Walls
Grooved columns poured together with their footings are produced, allowing a
quick and neat execution of boundary walls.
Special
Elements
-
Reinforced concrete elements for rainwater gutters, stairs or elevator shafts,
chimneys, septic tank cylindrical walls, lintels, copings, 6m length curbstones
and even 21.5 ton saddles to maintain in place submarine pipelines are currently
produced in SFI plant.
-
Three - dimensional reinforced concrete shafts and roof elements are currently
produced in SFI plant.
